Cosmic Encounter Tournament Results!

The Cosmic Encounter tournament ended on April 1st with first place going to Mike K with 10 points (2W,0S,1P,2T,0L,0GW) over the three days. Second place was a 7-way tie between Jean D, Jim C, Christopher S, Newson L, Shawn T, Shawn R, and Michael F, with 8 points (1W,1S,1P,2T,0L,0GW).

Thanks to everyone who helped make the tournament possible given the high attendance numbers and an extra special thanks to John E for fulfilling his promise to supply the club with pizza and drink if Cosmic Encounter won the vote!

2016 Point Pentathlon Results!

We had a full 16 player roster for our 2016 Point Pentathlon event on Saturday, February 27th. After about 11 hours and playing through five different point based games, the final weighted scores resulted in the following standings:

Gold Medal (1st Place): Chris F
Silver Medal (2nd Place): Callan B
Bronze Medal (3rd Place): Corey G
Closest to the Target: Shawn R

Forbidden Stars Tournament Results!

The Forbidden Stars tournament ended on February 5th with first place going to first-time, sole focus tournament winner: Michael F with 10 points (2W,0S,1P,2T,0L,0GW) over the three days. Second place was a 5-way tie between Corey G, Drew H, John T, Michael S, and Patrick C with 8 points.

Huge thanks to everyone who brought snacks and purchased copies of the game (this one was a little more expensive than we're used to for a focus game). Forbidden Stars was also a long tournament game, so thanks to those who took the time to read the rules in advance and especially to those who had to teach it a few times.
