Shogun with Tenno's Court Tournament Results!

The Shogun with Tenno's Court tournament ended on February 8th, with a tie for first between Michael F and Mike I with 10 points (2W,1P,0S,0L) over the three days. Second place was tied between Callan B and Chris F with 7 points (1W,1P,0S,1L).

Thanks to everyone who shared their copy, bought the expansion, and generally helped make this tournament successful!

Edmonton's NextGen presents: DIYalogue Talks Quality Play

The Edmonton Board Gaming League will be mentoring at Edmonton NextGen's upcoming DIYalogue event on January 24th!

The focus of this DIYalogue event is on "Quality Play" and is inspired by the worlds of gaming, game-playing and healthy competition in the Edmonton Area.

January & February 2013 Game of Focus Announced!

As a result of winning our GameAlot "draw" back in September, Samson C earned the right to select the club's first game of focus in 2013. He chose Shogun with the Tenno's Court Expansion (where applicable).

2013 League Schedule & Minor Changes

The EBGL's full 2013 League Schedule is now posted and available on our site, here. As we've done in previous years members may link to the EBGL's Google Calendar schedule.

Also, we're happy to announce that starting in 2013 the League will be moving from a bi-monthly to a bi-weekly playing schedule. This change offers our members and organizers a more predictable gaming schedule, increases the number of focus tournaments from 5 to 6 per year, and allows us to end the season in October (instead of November) to accommodate our sponsor's xmas stock storage needs.

We're confident these new changes will make our events more accessible for everyone.
