EBGL @ Game Con Canada 2025!

This year the EBGL attended Game Con Canada (June 13-15) to help demo games from CGE, Roxley, and Cards Against Humanity on behalf of our sponsor Mission: Fun & Games. Thank-you to all of our members who came out over the three days to show off some of our top tier teaching and gaming skills!

The Taverns of Tiefenthal Tournament Results!

The Taverns of Tiefenthal tournament ended on May 9th with first place tied between Michael F, Patrick C, and Rob D with 10 points (2W,0S,1P,2T,0L,0GW) over the three days. Second place was tied between Chris S, Julie W, and Vincent L with 8 points (1W,1S,1P,2T,0L,0GW).

Finally, the winner of the Golden Star draw during the tournament was Patrick C! Thanks to everyone who provided game copies, and especially those who had upgraded components for their copy!

2025 ThematiCON!

Our 2025 ThematiCON special event was held on Saturday, May 3rd at Mission: Fun & Games in St. Albert and we had a full house. This year's theme was 'Games with Table Presence' and wow was it delivered with some amazing looking games on every table throughout the day!

2025 LuckFest Results!

The EBGL's 2025 LuckFest Event was held on Saturday, March 22nd and the "lucky" winners in the end were:

Second Place: Richard F (right)
Third Place: Randal P (center)

Finally, congrats to Lance P - winner of the Totally Random Achievement! Thanks to Mission: Fun & Games for the venue and to all of our members and organizers who helped make our first special event in 2025 a huge success! This year's LuckFest event actually tied for our highest attended special event in EBGL history!
