The EBGL Point Pentathlon!

The EBGL is very excited to announce it's newest special event: The EBGL Point Pentathlon!

This brand new special event will be an Olympic-style tournament where the participants play through a series of five secretly-selected, point-based games trying to earn as many points as possible. Everyone's final scores from each game accumulate throughout the event until the player with the most points at the end of the final game is declared the winner.

The 2014 Point Pentathlon is scheduled for Sunday, February 16th! Registration for the event opens on Sunday, February 2nd and seats will be limited. Further details will be posted in the forums soon.

The 2014 EBGL Season has officially started!

Happy New Year everyone!

We're very excited (and anxious after such a long break) to officially kick-off of the 2014 EBGL Season. The season opener is a practice night for Matagot's Kemet board game on January 10th. It looks like we'll even have a few new applicants joining us for the inaugural event.

The 2013 Edmonton Board Gaming League season officially ended on October 4th and this year's award winners were announced during the awards ceremony event last night. On behalf of the entire club and our sponsors, we'd like to congratulate the following members on their 2013 awards:

Dominion Domination 2013 Results!

This year the EBGL had 17 members enter our tiered Pay To Enter (PTE) Dominion Domination Special Tournament event on October 4th and, as always, only 2 players emerged victorious.

Congratulations to the first place winner, Patrick C(left) and second place winner, Chris F(right)!.

Patrick and Chris walked away with gift certificates to Mission: Fun & Games.
