Forbidden Stars Tournament Results!

The Forbidden Stars tournament ended on February 5th with first place going to first-time, sole focus tournament winner: Michael F with 10 points (2W,0S,1P,2T,0L,0GW) over the three days. Second place was a 5-way tie between Corey G, Drew H, John T, Michael S, and Patrick C with 8 points.

Huge thanks to everyone who brought snacks and purchased copies of the game (this one was a little more expensive than we're used to for a focus game). Forbidden Stars was also a long tournament game, so thanks to those who took the time to read the rules in advance and especially to those who had to teach it a few times.

March & April 2016 Game of Focus Announced!

The EBGL's March & April focus game will be (for the second time): Cosmic Encounter!

The club database says we have at least 4 copies available - some of which have the almost all of the necessary expansions. If you do own these games or are willing to purchase the game and/or some expansions for your copies, please let us know! The more copies with expansions the better!

The Cosmic Encounter focus starts on Friday, March 4th!

Member Registration Temporarily Suspended

Due to an abnormally large influx of new member applications for our 2016 season, we regret to announce that we have had to temporarily suspend new member applications. Those applicants currently in the queue have already been notified and their applications will be processed before we decide to re-open registration.

As with any gaming league, there are limits to the number of active players we can have in our roster or even in the space we use.

2016 Season Schedule Posted!

The organizers are very happy to announce the EBGL's 2016 season starts on January 8th, 2016. For the entire 2016 schedule, please click here. As announced on our forums back in December, the first game of focus of 2016, as personally selected by Jim C, is Forbidden Stars! We are still looking for a few more copies of the game so let us know if you can pick it up!

We also have quite a few new applicants joining us in January so please be sure to give them a warm EBGL welcome!
