EBGL receives government grant - April Fools!

Today the Edmonton Board Gaming League Founder, Michael Isaac will be accepting a substantial grant from the Alberta government to "help keep young adults off the streets".

"It's great to see so much support for boardgaming", said Mr. Isaac. "Without this club I know many of our current members would be roaming the suburbs, looking to score some Tiddlywinks or rolling dice with their homies".

April 10th Warrior Knights Tournament Rescheduled

EBGL's first look at Warrior Knights

This Friday the EBGL had their first look at the Fantasy Flight remake of the 1985 classic, Warrior Knights. While the first game took exactly 5 hours on each table, the general opinion was the game is still great, but didn't keep all of the unique elements of the original game. The Scribe and Advancements (from the Crown and Glory expansion) speed up the game a bit and add a fun dynamic so we certainly wouldn't play without it.

Talisman FFA Night Results
