EBGL's first look at Warrior Knights

This Friday the EBGL had their first look at the Fantasy Flight remake of the 1985 classic, Warrior Knights. While the first game took exactly 5 hours on each table, the general opinion was the game is still great, but didn't keep all of the unique elements of the original game. The Scribe and Advancements (from the Crown and Glory expansion) speed up the game a bit and add a fun dynamic so we certainly wouldn't play without it.

Talisman FFA Night Results

Brent was the overall winner of last night's Talisman (4th edition) Free-for-All night, scoring 2W/0L. Big thanks to everyone who was able to come out.

March & April Game of Focus Selected

The polls have ended, the dust has settled, and the March & April 2009 EBGL Game of Focus will be: Warrior Knights!

Our database indicates we only have one member with a copy of this game (I think this should be higher), so please post in the forums (or add it to the database) if you own a copy, or would like to pick up a copy before our practice night on March 13th. Expansions are optional at this time.

Agricola Tournament Results - Congrats Chris F!

The Agricola tournament ended this week, with Chris F. declared the winner, scoring a total of 8 points (3W, 1L) over the two days. Second place was Brent with 6 points (2W, 2L), followed closely by Mark with 5 points (2W, 0L).
