September & October Game of Focus Selected

The votes are in, and the September & October 2009 EBGL Game of Focus will be: Dust! We currently have three members volunteering to pick up a copy of this game, but if you happen to own a copy already, or would like to pick up a copy before our practice night on September 11th, please post in the forums. Mission: Fun & Games in St. Albert is hosting three days of board gaming from Friday, September 11th to Sunday, September 13th.

The types of events that will be held are board games, card games, role playing games, miniatures games and anything else that you want to run. We, the gamers, get to decide what games we want to host and possibly teach people there. If you're interested in representing the EBGL there, please let us know here.

Tannhäuser Tournament Results - Three-way tie!

The Tannhäuser tournament ended this week with a three-way tie for first place between Chris F, Mike, and Shawn R. All three scored a total of 6 points (2W, 0L) over the two days. Second place was another three-way tie between Chris B, Mark, and Nathan with 3 points each (1W, 0L).

Congrats to the winners and thanks again to all who came out to play!
