The EBGL is Moving!

As most of you may have already heard (or read the article in our forums or on Mission's website), our sponsor/host store Mission: Fun & Games is moving to a bigger, better location this summer and the EBGL will be moving their gaming headquarters with them.

So, starting Friday, June 8th (our next official League event), we will be meeting and gaming exclusively at the new store location, which is at #560 St. Albert Trail, St Albert (formerly Crickets Restaurant).

EBGL - From Dawn till Dusk Results

The participants of the "From Dawn till Dusk" event this Saturday ended up playing a total of 6 scored tournament games (Talisman, 7 Wonders x2, Planet Steam, Belfort, and Cyclades) over a 15 hour period. Here are the final results:

Overall Event Winner - Shawn T
Most Game Wins - Shawn T, Mark H - 3W,3L each
Most Games Played for the First Time - Adam M, John T - 3 new games each

Kingsburg Tournament Results

The Kingsburg tournament ended on April 13th, with the first place position going to our 2011 League Champion, Patrick C with whopping 17 point tournament shutout(4W,0L) over the three days! Second place went to Mike I with 13 points (3W,1L).

Huge thanks to everyone who supplied games, brought snacks, and of course participated in the games!

May & June 2012 Game of Focus Announced!

The May & June 2012 Game of Focus will be GMT Games' Dominant Species!

Our database shows we currently at least 4 copies shared so please let us know if you're interested in purchasing a copy of the game for the upcoming focus. The practice night for Dominant Species is scheduled for May 4th.

With 3 scheduled tournament nights (and now points for second place) you really won't want to miss out on this exciting focus! Best of luck to everyone!
