Cyclades Tournament Results!

The Cyclades tournament ended on June 14th, with first place going to a tie between Chris F and Joshua D with 13 points (3W,1P,0S,1L) over the three days. Second place went to Shawn R with 10 points (2W,1P,0S,2L).

Thank you to everyone who attended and also to John T and Terry W for purchasing extra copies of the game!

June & July 2013 Game of Focus Announced!

We're happy to announce the EBGL's June - July 2013 Game of Focus is Z-Man Games' At the Gates of Loyang! It may have lost during the last focus poll, but it came back stronger than ever this time around.

Our club database indicates we only have 3 copies of At the Gates of Loyang shared with the club, so if you're interested in purchasing a copy (or own it but haven't added it to the database), please let us know! We'll need at least 2-3 more copies based on recent attendance numbers.

The practice night for At the Gates of Loyang is on Friday, June 28th.

Cosmic Encounter Tournament Results!

The Cosmic Encounter tournament ended on May 3rd, with first place going to a tie between John E and Shawn R with 14 points (3W,1P,1S,0L) over the three days. Second place went Michael F with 12 points (2W,1P,2S,0L).

Thanks to all of our members who provided copies of the game, brought snacks, and helped make this tournament so much fun!

EBGL - From Dawn till Dusk Results

The participants of the "From Dawn till Dusk" marathon event this Saturday ended up playing a total of 8 scored tournament matches from the following games (Belfort, King of Tokyo, Tzolk'in, Quarriors, Formula De, and Battlestar Galactica) over a ~15 hour period. Here are the final results:

1st Place - Chris F (5W,3L)
2nd Place - Terry W (3W,5L) - tie breaker between Terry, John T, Shawn T, and Rob D.
Most Games Played for the First Time - Terry W (4 games never played before)

The EBGL Organizers would like to thank our kind host (Zenith Logistics) and everyone who came out to support our special event! Well over $300 in prizes were given out throughout the evening!
