2024 ThematiCON!

The 2024 ThematiCON event was held on May 25th and this year's theme was Variable Player Powers. While there were plenty of prizes, the real win went to Zechariah S who won the right to provide all 4 games for the first focus game poll of the 2025 season. Congrats Zechariah!

Thanks to everyone who brought and helped teach games throughout the day to make the event as fun as possible!

Dune: Imperium - Uprising Tournament Results

The Dune: Imperium - Uprising tournament ended on April 19th with first place tied between Chris S, Jim C, Patrick C, and Rob D with 10 points (2W,0S,1P,2T,0L,0GW) over the three days. Second place was tied between Chris H and Michael F with 8 points (1W,1S,1P,2T,0L,0GW)

Thanks to those who had to look far and wide to find copies of the game and to those 90 percent of our members who voted to make Mike buy snacks for the practice event!

2024 Point Pentathlon Results!

The EBGL's 2024 Point Pentathlon event was held on Saturday, March 2nd with a record 20 players competing for both top placements and points in a series of five selected games (Apiary, Cascadia, Clank! Catacombs, The Quacks of Quedlinburg, and Reiner Knizia's Decathlon). In the end, the top three players (medallists) were:

GOLD:Rob D
SILVER:Kendra W
BRONZE:Chris S

Congrats to the winners and thanks to everyone who risked the weather and came out to our first special event of the season.

Anno 1800 Tournament Results

The Anno 1800: The Board Game tournament ended on February 23rd with first place going to a four-way tie between Antonio B, Chris S, Patrick C, and Mike I with 10 points (2W,0S,1P,2T,0L,0GW) over the three days. Second place went to Rob D and 2024 Rookie Daniel Z with 8 points (1W,1S,1P,2T,0L,0GW).

Thanks to everyone who purchased and/or supplied one of the nine (record) copies we needed for this first focus game of the 2024 season. We've had some amazing attendance numbers every single night so far this season!
