Gamer Biography:

I ruined many friendships in my younger years through the conquest and betrayal of Risk. But as I cycled through the game's thematic variants (2210, Legacy, Lord of the Rings, Metal Gear Solid) as an adult, I began to crave more variety. Collecting Warhammer 40K armies eventually led me to Eric Lang's Chaos in the Old World, which really introduced me to a wider world of board gaming beyond the classics. I now own a sizable collection from all kinds of genres: co-operative, deck-building, worker placement, and, yes, more maps where little dudes duke it out for control. Yet it's becoming harder and harder to get a group together for a night of gaming — so I'm hoping to make some new friends who share my love of cardboard boxes, miniatures, and hours of lighthearted scheming.
