The EBGL is an adults-only gaming league, meaning you must be at least 18 years old to become a member. Members must also be a permanent resident in the capital region (Edmonton, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Leduc, Sherwood Park/Strathcona County, Fort Saskatchewan, and Beaumont).
We expect everyone to be and act like adults and thus have a zero tolerance for people who are rude, disrespectful, or who blatantly lie or cheat. We will simply decline anyone that does not act in a mature, respectful manner during the application process and have means to quickly deal with members who act in such a way after joining us.
Otherwise, there are no other restrictions. If you have any special requirements (as a result of a disability, allergy, etc), please be sure to let us know and we'll always try our best to accommodate.
In the end, the EBGL lives by the values of Inclusivity, Fairness, and Fun, and we do all we can to ensure everyone feels included, all events are as fair as possible (always starting on-time with a common set of rules), and that our members are always enjoying their time with us, whether they are playing games to win or to collect achievements.
