EBGLAPALOOZA 2024 was a Huge Success!

The EBGL's EBGLAPALOOZA 2024 gaming convention event was held on Saturday, September 28th at Mission: Fun & Games in St. Albert. Over 20 games were successfully hosted and played throughout the day and we even broke our prior record for special event attendance, which coincidentally resulted in the largest ever special event prize pool to give away!

Huge thanks to everyone who registered to teach the games people wanted to learn (via the new hitlist) and to all those who came out to learn and play. Also, thanks to Mission: Fun & Games for the excellent venue and support for this all day event.

The Quacks of Quedlinburg Tournament Results!

The Quacks of Quedlinburg (push your luck) tournament ended on August 9th with first place going to Jim C with 10 points (2W,0S,1P,2T,0L,0GW) over the three days. Jim was the sole winner of this focus, which also earns him the coveted bonus point! Second place went to 2024 Rookie, Julie W with 8 points (1W,1S,1P,2T,0L,0GW).

Once again, thanks to all who bought or supplied copies of this game (especially those copies with the really fancy upgraded components- wow!)

2024 Dawn till Dusk Results!

The EBGL's 9th Annual Dawn Till Dusk "marathon" gaming tournament was held on Saturday, July 6th.

Congrats to the following players on their wins after ~16 hours:
* Jim C - First Place (right)
* Zechariah S - Second Place (center)
* Kendra W - Third Place (left)
* Mark K - won his entry fee back
* Sean S - Winner of the "Not Supposed to be here today" achievement
* Joe T - Winner of the "Class Teacher" achievement

First, second, and third place winners all walked away with some very nice gift cards to Mission: Fun & Games while all players who attended the entire event received fancy 2024 Dawn till Dusk achievement. Thanks to everyone who attended and helped make this event successful - and especially to Mission: Fun & Games for heavy use of their games room from Dawn till Dusk on Saturday.
