2015 Point Pentathlon Results!

The EBGL's second annual Point Pentathlon Tournament was held on March 14th (PI day!). Congratulations to the winners (photo here): Shawn T won gold with 588 points, Chris F won silver with 554 points, Mike K won bronze with 530 points, and Sean S won closest to the target(440) with 448 points.

The Castles of Burgundy Tournament Results

The Castles of Burgundy tournament ended on February 6th, with the first place position going to first time tournament winner Jim C with 10 points (2W,0S,1P,2T,0L,0GW) over the three days. Second place was tied between Rebecca T (2W,0S,0P,2T,0L,0GW) and Mike I (1W,1S,1P,2T,0L,0GW) with 8 points each.

This focus tournament event was definitely well-attended with an average attendance of 25 people per night! Again, thanks to everyone who brought or purchased copies of the game, bought snacks, and generally made things awesome!

March & April 2015 Game of Focus Announced!

In a surprising, but also cool turn of events, we are happy to announce the EBGL's March & April 2015 focus game will be...Dead of Winter! The surprising part is it actually beat out Battlestar Galactica in the poll, while the cool part is ZOMBIES.

The club database currently indicates we only have 1 copy of Dead of Winter shared, but we know a number of members have since gone out and purchased it. Of course, if you plan to buy it or already have it, make sure we know (or just update the database)!

The Dead of Winter focus starts on Friday, March 6th. Huge thanks to 28 people who submitted their vote!

2015 Season Starting January 9th!

The EBGL's 9th season formally kicks off on January 9th, 2015! We still have a couple seats open in our roster this year so register today to get in for the full season and full chances to win some of the big year-end prizes! In 2014, we awarded well over $1200 in prizes!

The first focus game of 2015 will be The Castles of Burgundy, as selected by our GameAlot draw winner Sean S. The club database indicates we only have 2 copies of The Castles of Burgundy available, so if you're interested in purchasing a copy (or own it but haven't added it to the database), please let us know! We'll need at least 6-7 copies in total based on average attendance numbers in January.

Members, please check your email over the next week or so to ensure you have everything you need for the new season.
