The 2023 Season Roster is now full!

We are happy to report the October 21st in-person registration and open gaming event was an incredible success! The in-person event, combined with the online registration starting on Sunday, October 23rd resulted in a completely full 2023 roster in less than three days! That's a new league record! As a result, registration for the 2023 season is now closed.

Huge thanks to all of our past members who came back to re-register and a warm welcome to all of our new members. Please stay-tuned for more details about your accounts and 2023 season!

EBGL 2023 Season Registration & Event

The Edmonton Board Gaming League's 2023 Season Registration Event will be held from 5pm-8pm on Friday, October 21st at Mission: Fun & Games in St. Albert.

Please feel free to bring your friends and family (18 years or older) to meet and/or play some games with the new organizational committee, learn about the changes to the league in 2023, and officially register to join the EBGL's 2023 season! There are even some prizes to be won.

This one-time registration event is to help spread the word again about the Edmonton Board Gaming League and hopefully fill our roster for the 2023 season starting in January, 2023. If you are a previous member of league from before the COVID-19 pandemic, you will need to re-register.

If you are unable to attend and register in-person, online registration for the remaining seats will open at noon on Sunday, October 23rd.

EBGL Announces Full Return in 2023!

The Edmonton Board Gaming League is excited to announce it has a newly-expanded organizational team that is now hard at work building a full 2023 season! Please welcome the 2022/2023 EBGL organizers:

Mike Isaac - Founder/Organizer
Shawn Roberts - Organizer
Rob Davidson - Organizer
Lance Perro - Assistant Organizer

The new team has already secured a venue and associated arrangement with our former primary sponsor (Mission: Fun & Games) and has sorted out the proposed format/rules for the new season based on feedback collected from our past players. While many things will remain the same, there will be some changes coming that we hope will make the League even better.

London (2nd Edition) Tournament Results!

The London (2nd Edition) tournament ended on February 21st with first place going to a 3-way tie between Jim C, Mark H, and Sean S with 10 points (2W,0S,1P,2T,0L,0GW) over the three days. Second place was a 5-way tie between Michael F, Peter H, Rob D, Shawn R, and Tammy L with 8 points (1W,1S,1P,2T,0L,0GW).
