Ark Nova Tournament Results!

The Ark Nova tournament ended on March 3rd with first place tied between Chris S and John E with 10 points (2W,0S,1P,2T,0L,0GW) over the three days. Second place was a 5-way tie between Antonio B, Chris H, Earl K, Michael F, and Mike I with 8 points (1W,1S,1P,2T,0L,0GW).

Our organizers would like to thank all of our members for making the first focus tournament of our 2023 season (and first since before the pandemic in 2020) a success with consistently high turnouts and some very patient new members. Ark Nova was also the first game in many years that was so popular that we didn't have to ask people to buy it!

On behalf of the organizing committee, the EBGL would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and all the best in 2023!

Now that the new year is upon us, we are looking forward to officially kicking off the start of our 2023 season with the Season Opener event on Friday, January 6th. Just a reminder, the first two events of the 2023 season are Open Gaming nights this season to ease everyone back into some competitive gaming.

The 2023 Season Roster is now full!

We are happy to report the October 21st in-person registration and open gaming event was an incredible success! The in-person event, combined with the online registration starting on Sunday, October 23rd resulted in a completely full 2023 roster in less than three days! That's a new league record! As a result, registration for the 2023 season is now closed.

Huge thanks to all of our past members who came back to re-register and a warm welcome to all of our new members. Please stay-tuned for more details about your accounts and 2023 season!

EBGL 2023 Season Registration & Event

The Edmonton Board Gaming League's 2023 Season Registration Event will be held from 5pm-8pm on Friday, October 21st at Mission: Fun & Games in St. Albert.

Please feel free to bring your friends and family (18 years or older) to meet and/or play some games with the new organizational committee, learn about the changes to the league in 2023, and officially register to join the EBGL's 2023 season! There are even some prizes to be won.

This one-time registration event is to help spread the word again about the Edmonton Board Gaming League and hopefully fill our roster for the 2023 season starting in January, 2023. If you are a previous member of league from before the COVID-19 pandemic, you will need to re-register.

If you are unable to attend and register in-person, online registration for the remaining seats will open at noon on Sunday, October 23rd.
