Gamer Biography:

I have been playing strategy board games for the last 18 years, some of my favourites include Game of Thrones (and all expansions), Twilight Imperium, Samurai Swords (aka Shogun), Axis and Allies (and all expansions). In my teens I played AD&D with my group of friends and we used to set up our own massive war games using hand drawn hexed transparencies over the Forgotten Realms maps. Our war games would last weeks to complete, it was great! My group of friends with whom I have played with over the years have all moved to other cities for jobs and I have been really missing being able to play and learn new board games. This kind of league is exactly something I’ve been wishing existed and just decided to give it a shot on google. To my delight and surprise I came upon the EBGL website and instantly knew I wanted to join.
