2011 EBGL Award Winners!

The 2011 EBGL season officially completed on November 25th and all of the award winners were announced at last night's awards ceremony. On behalf of the entire club and our sponsors, we'd like to congratulate the following members on their 2011 awards:

2011 League Champion (highest league rating) - Patrick C
2011 Second Place (second highest league rating) - Casey M
2011 Third Place - (third highest league rating) - Rebecca T
2011 Most Victories (most tournament game wins) - Patrick C
2011 Most Tournaments Won (most tournament event wins) - Patrick C
2011 Most Games Played (most official games played) - Shawn R
2011 Most Improved Player (most improved league rating) - Andy M

Dominion Domination 2011 Results!

We had 15 players enter our multi-tiered PTE Dominion Domination Tournament event on November 11th and only two members emerged victorious. Congratulations to the first place winner, Kevin U (left) and second place winner Rob D (right)!

Kevin and Rob walked away with gift certificates to Mission: Fun & Games. Also, congrats to everyone else who received one of the 5 random door prizes! All said and done, over $200 in prizes were given out for the event!

7 Wonders Tournament Results

The 7 Wonders tournament ended on October 21st, with the first place position going to Patrick C with 13 points (3W,1L) over the three days. Second place was tied between Rob D and Rebecca T with 10 points (2W,2L).

Huge thanks to all of members who made it out...the 7 Wonders tournament was our highest attended tournament of all time!

September & October 2011 Game of Focus Announced!

The September & October 2011 Game of Focus will be 7 Wonders!

Our database lists at least 6 copies shared (3 with the Leader's Expansion) so please let us know if you're interested in purchasing a copy of the game and/or expansion for the upcoming focus. The practice night for 7 Wonders is scheduled for September 23rd.

Due to the very quick play times, you definitely won't want to miss out on this tournament!
