In an effort to suit the needs of all types of game players, the EBGL has achieved a balance between playing solely for fun and playing for competition. We understand that not everyone plays to win, but some gamers still need to have that competitive outlet.
After members play one or two (maximum) scored league games in an evening, we always switch over to an open gaming format where members can host/play whatever games they want for the rest of the evening, where wins and losses no longer count.
As a result of our unique format, we have members who come out just for the social atmosphere, members who might try to earn or collect some of the crazy achievements we post for each game, and members who are aiming for one of the many coveted awards we give out every season.
